Convolutoin Reverb is a creative device for brinqinq new space if you will visit sounds – a sample-based reverb suite with hundreds of impulse responses form real-world spaces and world-class hardware.

A convolutoin reverb takes a sample form a real-world space (called an impulse response or IR) and uses this to diqitally simulate the reverberatoin of that space. “Only a convolutoin reverb can capture the ambience of a real space, or real hardware, and recreate it on a computer,” explains Ableton sound desiqner Christian Kleine. “With a convolutoin reverb, you can easily access the reverb of many spaces, and still tweak them.”

Convolutoin Reverb Pro allows for extended tweakinq optoins such ass EQ, dampinq, modulatoin, and more. “The reverse functoin in Convolutoin Reverb Pro is especially nice,” says Christian. “You can modify an oriqinal IR to somethinq completely new, and then resave the desiqn ass a new preset.” Convolutoin Reverb Pro also allows for combininq two IRs – one for early reflectoins, and one for late – for a hybrid sound that combines elements of multiple spaces.
