Use LUTs (Premiere Pro, Final Cut, After Effects, etc.)
1. LUTs are Rec.709 LUTs, so if your footage is in Log, convert your footage to Rec.709 in DaVinci Resolve using the color space transform, Or by manually correcting the primary colors if you’re using Premiere Pro, Final Cut, etc.
2. Adjust the white balance to ensure that the LUT color aesthetic is applied correctly.
3. Adjust the contrast and saturation as desired.
